How We Work

We understand the challenges of contracting or running a small business, so we make your book-keeping and accounts as hassle-free and efficient for you as possible with a range of fixed-price packages, as well as Xero packages and support. Get in touch to talk through which would be best for you.

Here’s what will happen next:

  1. You’ll be assigned a Tax Doctor accountant who will work with you from start to finish. They will work out what information is needed from you and answer any questions you might have.
  2. Your Tax Doctor accountant will specify exactly what we need from you, depending on your business and situation. How you get this info to us is up to you – by email, fax or post. You’ll also need to complete our Client Authorisation form.
  3. Your Tax Doctor will select all the relevant information and let you know if they need anything further. Easy as that.
  4. If you’re filing a tax return, we’ll email you your completed documentation for you to look through and check, before we submit it on your behalf to the IRD. If you’re unsure about any of it or you think it needs changing, your Tax Doctor will work through it with you.
